How buying works

Eligible online orders use Stripe Managed Payments, and pineforge, LLC grants the license. This page describes the seller, supported countries, sanctions restrictions, optional payment-link assistance and support terms. Direct checkout outside Managed Payments coverage is not yet available.

We keep a dated copy of this page and of the plans page from each release of the site, so the version that stood on the date of an order can be shown.

Who sells online orders

Eligible orders use Stripe’s Managed Payments. Its merchant of record is Sold through Link, LLC, shown as “Link” on the payment page, card statement (“LINK.COM* …”), receipt and invoice. Purchases become available only after payment readiness is complete.

It handles the payment, the tax, the receipt and the invoice: it calculates, collects and remits the sales tax or VAT where it applies, and shows the amount due with any tax before you pay. Prices are in US dollars.

Self-serve plans are subscriptions with the partner: it charges each yearly renewal, and you cancel through its subscription page, linked from its receipt, or by writing to us.

It sells you the order under its own terms. Questions about the payment, the receipt or the invoice go to its support; questions about the license go to [email protected].

Refunds

Our policy: no refunds after purchase, except where the law requires one, for a duplicate or mistaken charge, and in the cases the agreement lists, such as a renewal charged without its 30-day reminder that you cancel within 30 days. The partner's own refund policy may be more generous than ours. A license whose payment is refunded in full is revoked unless refunded for a reason the agreement lists, and the verify page reports it as revoked; a renewal refunded because its 30-day reminder was not sent ends early, and the verify page reports it as expired.

Countries supported for online checkout

When purchases open, online checkout is available only in countries where Stripe Managed Payments carries the indirect tax (sales tax or VAT). This is the partner’s list, from Stripe’s documentation, as checked on 2026-10-05.

Belarus is on the partner's list, but we never sell there: see below.

Outside Stripe Managed Payments coverage? Contact us about a direct purchase, or write to [email protected]; direct checkout is not yet available. An inquiry creates no charge or payment link.

Where we never sell

We refuse every order, online or by quote, from a licensee or a buyer located, organized or ordinarily resident in these countries and regions under sanctions, whatever the list above says; the checkout does not offer them:

  • Belarus
  • Cuba
  • Iran
  • North Korea
  • Russia
  • Syria
  • The Crimea region of Ukraine
  • The Donetsk region of Ukraine
  • The Luhansk region of Ukraine

We also check the licensee's legal name and the buyer's name against the US sanctions lists before payment and again before we issue a license; a possible match holds the order for review.

Large orders and Stripe payment links

Eligible self-serve plans retain Stripe Checkout when purchases open. For the Team and Fund $6,000 options and OEM Growth $9,000, you may instead ask about assistance or write to [email protected]. An inquiry creates no payment link. A later authorized assisted or custom offer would require an eligible order-specific Stripe payment link and verification of the buyer, licensee, agreement, amounts and screening; that issuance workflow is not yet available. All eleven annual options are software-only offers, subject to the same closed activation and eligibility controls. We do not offer direct invoices or purchase-order payment.

Support

Orders include no human email technical support, response SLA or guaranteed maintenance. Use documentation and community resources where available. License and Order inquiries go to [email protected], without a technical-support response promise. Renewal terms follow the applicable agreement.

What pineforge, LLC does

pineforge, LLC grants the license under the Commercial License Agreement, issues the signed license and its certificate, keeps the license record on the verify page, and answers license questions at [email protected]. Every eligible sale, including an agreed quote, goes through Stripe Managed Payments.

The same commercial license covers PineForge codegen and PineForge HPO (pineforge-hpo). PineForge HPO is licensed under PineForge Source License 1.2. One purchase covers both, with the same plans and prices.

PineForge HPO and the codegen transpiler are also distributed together, version-matched, in pineforge-release: https://github.com/pineforge-4pass/pineforge-release/releases/tag/v1.6.0
